What are your workplace/organization’s mission and products/services?
ACE: Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs
Who is ACE? ACE is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). We are a Georgia non-profit organization that provides capital, coaching, and connections to help our borrowers create and grow sustainable businesses that generate jobs.
Who do we serve? Small businesses in Georgia, with a focus on women, people of color, low-to-moderate income business owners, large businesses, and community facilities that create jobs.
Vision: Making Access to Capital Attainable for All Entrepreneurs
Mission: Through capital, coaching and connections, ACE helps small businesses grow by removing barriers to accessing capital.
What motivated you to serve on Prospera’s board as a volunteer?
My passion is to support business owners to impact communities and the economy in the State of Georgia. Prospera has the mission to help and grow Hispanic-owned businesses to achieve community prosperity. In the TAC Committee, we share the same mission to impact the Hispanic community.
What have you enjoyed the most so far about serving on Prospera’s board?
Becoming a Prospera board member is satisfying because we have the opportunity to support the Hispanic community and share different points of view with the same focus.
What would you most like the local community to know about Prospera?
Prospera is an organization with 33 years of experience supporting the Hispanic community in the United States. The Hispanic community needs to know the value of the services available for business owners in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. Prospera staff has the same mission for this community, and the tools to support entrepreneurs in the United States.
