Nurtured since his childhood in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Pedro Oliveira’s journey into entrepreneurship was fueled by a lifelong passion for soccer. As a dedicated athlete, he continued to hone his skills competitively throughout college. Upon graduating, Pedro was determined to keep his passion for soccer alive and sought to combine it with his entrepreneurial spirit.
In October 2020, Pedro founded P3 Sports, LLC in Charlotte, North Carolina, later expanding to Clemson/Seneca, South Carolina. P3 Sports offers a diverse array of training programs in soccer and basketball, ranging from after-school sessions to intensive pro-level training. Pedro’s vision for his business is to bridge the gap between recreational and competitive sports, fostering a supportive environment for everyone.
Realizing a need for help to sustain his business, Pedro sought Prospera’s assistance earlier this year. Since then, the organization has been instrumental in helping him identify challenges and implement effective solutions, particularly in budgeting and business management. Moreover, Prospera facilitated valuable connections and provided insights into local grant opportunities for small businesses.
