What motivated you to serve on Prospera’s board as a volunteer?

My motivation to serve on Prospera’s board is deeply rooted in my passion for their mission. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with the Prospera team on various initiatives during my time in Miami. These experiences allowed me to witness firsthand the incredible impact they have on the Hispanic entrepreneurial community. I wholeheartedly believe in the importance of their work, and that’s what motivated me to take on a more substantial role by joining the Georgia Regional Board. Prospera’s dedication to supporting Hispanic entrepreneurs aligns perfectly with my personal values and professional experience.

What would you most like the community to know about Prospera?

I would like the community to understand that the support Prospera provides is truly invaluable. Prospera’s commitment to offering bilingual assistance to Hispanic entrepreneurs is a unique and powerful asset. By bridging language and cultural gaps, they enable individuals to not only start their own businesses but also flourish and contribute to the broader community and economy. It’s essential for our community to recognize that Prospera plays a pivotal role in fostering economic growth, inclusivity, and success for Hispanic entrepreneurs.

What is the most important lesson you’ve learned throughout your career?

The most important lesson I’ve gleaned throughout my career is the significance of adaptability. The business landscape is in a constant state of change, and those who can pivot and evolve with it are the ones who succeed. I’ve learned that staying open to change, continuously seeking new knowledge and skills, and being willing to embrace innovative approaches is crucial. The ability to adapt has been a key factor in my own career growth and accomplishments.

How do you stay informed on industry trends?

Staying informed on industry trends is a vital part of my professional life. I do so by regularly following reputable news sources such as The Wall Street Journal, CNN, and Bloomberg. These sources provide comprehensive coverage of global and industry-specific developments, ensuring I’m up to date on the latest market dynamics, emerging trends, and economic insights. It’s a practice that keeps me well-prepared to make informed decisions and navigate the ever-changing business environment effectively.

What is one item still on your bucket list?

As an avid traveler who has had the privilege of living in Europe and exploring numerous countries, one of the most exciting items on my bucket list is to venture into Asia. Specifically, I’ve set my sights on visiting Thailand and Singapore. The allure of these destinations lies in their rich cultures, stunning natural landscapes, and the opportunity to immerse myself in completely new experiences. It’s a dream I’m determined to fulfill, and it’s the next thrilling chapter in my ongoing quest for adventure and cultural enrichment.
