On May 9 and 10, Hispanic entrepreneurs in West Palm Beach had the opportunity to receive personalized, individual advice from Prospera business development consultants as well as participate in a seminar about marketing through social media, for free. The event was presented in collaboration with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County and the Palm Beach County Library System. This was our first visit to the region since rebranding the Hispanic Business Initiative Fund (HBIF) to Prospera.
Individual business consulting sessions were offered each day in Spanish and English. Wednesday’s seminar, titled “The Art of Social Media,” was presented by Vicente Pimienta, Google Digital Coach in Miami with more than 20 years of experience providing Internet Services, Digital Media, Consulting and Training. He presented key digital strategies to use social media for small business owners.
Thanks in large part to State of Florida funding, Prospera is able to deliver services to Hispanic entrepreneurs throughout the state, outside of the counties served year-round by its three regional offices.
