On March 2 and 3, North Carolina Hispanic entrepreneurs in the Charlotte metro area had the opportunity to receive advice from Prospera business development consultants as well as participate in a digital marketing business seminar—for free. The event could not have been possible without the patronage of Wells Fargo, Bank of America and BB&T. This was our third visit to serve entrepreneurs in Charlotte, and our first event in the area since the rebranding of Hispanic Business Initiative Fund (HBIF) to Prospera.
Individual consulting sessions were offered each day in Spanish and English. Thursday’s seminar, titled “Your Presence on the Internet,” covered topics which included SEO, information about the various social media and how to maintain a strong presence based on your consumer profile and target audience, online advertisement, and measuring ROI. The seminar was presented by Ignacio Cassinelli, director of digital strategy at AC&M Group who has experience developing campaigns for brands such as Fox Sports, Sherwin-Williams, EA Sports, AT&T, New Balance and Family Dollar.
