- What led you to serve on Prospera’s Board of Directors?
I was asked to join the board representing Wells Fargo who had been and still is a longtime supporter of HBIF/Prospera.

- Tell us a bit about your Hispanic background.
Both of my parents were born in Cuba and came to this country in the early 1960s. They met in the U.S., got married and established one of the 1st Cuban cafeterias in Miami and later opened a 2nd followed by a party hall that was home to hundreds of wedding receptions, quinceañeras, bridal and baby showers and luncheons for various municipios de Cuba.
- What is the most important lesson you’ve learned throughout your career?
You cannot go very far without a strong work ethic.
- Which social media platform do you use most frequently?
Mainly Google and YouTube.
- Can you tell us one item still on your bucket list?
An Alaskan cruise.
