Northeast Florida Client: Ana Bolt-Turrall
Finding Healing Through Movement
For more than 30 years, Ana Bolt-Turrall has built her career as an educator, combining her experience in dance and movement with a passion for helping others improve their well-being. With a master’s degree in education and movement choreography, she began incorporating Pilates into her professional practice in 2010, expanding her approach to health and quality of life. That experience led her to establish The Bolt Movement in 2011 and, years later, open her Jacksonville studio in 2021, where she offers private Pilates sessions, group classes, and personalized wellness programs designed to promote active and graceful aging.
Building a Stronger Business Foundation
Although Ana brought extensive professional expertise to her business, she recognized that growing a company required strategic planning and operational guidance. She first connected with Prospera during a Cafecito Social hosted by the First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Jacksonville, where she learned about the resources available to entrepreneurs. Through Prospera’s personalized business consulting, Ana strengthened the operations and developed a business plan that provided a clearer roadmap for managing and expanding The Bolt Movement. She also received a computer through the Comcast program, helping streamline her day-to-day operations and support the continued growth of her business.
Looking Toward the Future
As demand for her services continues to grow, Ana is focused on expanding The Bolt Movement without losing the personalized approach that defines her business. She hopes to relocate to a larger space, broaden her class offerings, and continue building a team of instructors who share her work philosophy. Through this next stage of growth, she plans to make her services accessible to even more individuals throughout Northeast Florida.
Growing Through Purpose and Knowledge
As she reflects on her entrepreneurial journey, Ana encourages other entrepreneurs to prioritize purpose before growth and excellence before expansion.
“Start small, but with a clear intention. Many people focus on growing quickly without first building quality. When you serve others with excellence, knowledge, and love, your work creates a lasting impact.”
She also believes that continuous education is one of the most valuable investments any entrepreneur can make.
“Invest in your own learning. Developing real knowledge gives you the tools to solve problems, serve others better, and build a business with confidence and purpose.”
Today, Ana continues building The Bolt Movement with the same commitment to education, personalized care, and intentional movement that inspired her to start the business. She has strengthened the operational foundation of her business and established a clear vision for its future. As Ana continues expanding her business reach throughout Northeast Florida, she remains focused on helping her clients live healthier, more active lives.
