2024 North Carolina Community Reception in Charlotte

2024 North Carolina Community Reception in Charlotte

On Tuesday, May 21, 2024 we had a wonderful gathering with our funders, volunteers, clients, TAC providers, and partners at the Mint Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina.

It was our pleasure to get together and celebrate our collective impact and shared focus on economic development, upward mobility, helping the underserved, and empowering minority entrepreneurs so our entire community can benefit.

During the event, we presented a token of appreciation to some of our community partners, whose year-round collaboration has been crucial to reach and serve Latino entrepreneurs effectively,

  • Carolina Small Business Development Fund
  • City of Charlotte
  • Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas (HCAC)
  • Latin American Chamber of Commerce of Charlotte
  • Latin American Coalition
  • Mecklenburg County
  • NC IDEA
  • NC Rural Center
  • South Piedmont Community College Small Business Center

We also had the privilege of listening from outstanding client, YESSICA G AGUIRRE, as she shared her entrepreneurial journey experience since the founding of her small business within Charlotte’s Albemarle Corridor and seeking Prospera’s guidance and support in April 2022.

Prospera’s Regional President José D. Alvarez, Regional Board of Director Raymond Chinn, and President & CEO Augusto Sanabria, spoke during the event to expand on the organizations mission and accomplishments, and thank our funders, supporters, volunteers, and staff for making it all possible.
