What is your workplace’s mission and products/services?
Fifth Third Bank aims to be the one bank people rely on and trust. We offer customized financial products and solutions that help clients reach their financial goals.
What have you enjoyed the most so far about serving on Prospera’s TAC?
I’ve enjoyed hearing about successes had by Hispanic entrepreneurs in our community. I feel honored to be able to hear about what certain business owners might be working towards and the goals they’re hoping to achieve. The spirit of our community is known to be hard working, so it brings me joy being able to witness it firsthand through Prospera and have a hand in helping members of my community feel valued and understood.
What would you most like the community to know about Prospera?
I would most like for the community to know that Prospera is a non-profit and has been involved in this line of work for over 30 years. I say this because while maybe in Georgia the firm is still growing, the impact the organization has had in its own history is undeniable. There have been waves upon waves of successful partnerships with business owners since Prospera started in 1991. It’s incredible to hear entrepreneurs say firsthand that hesitancy of “it sounds too good to be true.” But the reality is YES – the team offers sound business consultative advice at no cost!
Which are the three words that best describe you?
Responsible, meticulous, and goal-driven.
What is one item still on your bucket list?
Scuba diving with sharks in Indonesia/Singapore and the Galapagos Islands.
Peter’s dedication to financial empowerment and his commitment to supporting Hispanic entrepreneurs align perfectly with Prospera’s mission. His expertise and passion make him an invaluable asset to our Technical Assistance Committee. At Prospera, we are grateful for his leadership and the meaningful impact he brings to our organization!
