What is your role at Chase?
As an Executive Director for Middle Market Banking at JPMorgan Chase, I’m focused on helping our clients succeed at every stage of growth and making a positive difference in our communities. I bring the firm’s global capabilities to Georgia’s midsize businesses, offering strategic guidance and tailored solutions including digital banking and payments, credit and financing, treasury and merchant services, and international banking. Our team of commercial bankers also partner closely across the firm to serve the holistic banking and finance needs of local businesses and business leaders.
What motivated you to serve on Prospera’s board as a volunteer?
The opportunity to serve the Georgia community overall and also the Latino Hispanic segment of companies that work so hard to enhance our state’s economic wellbeing.
What have you enjoyed the most so far about serving on Prospera’s board?
The opportunity to collaborate with other leaders of our community, and be able to experience first hand the impact of one-on-one coaching on small companies as they look to overcome challenges and scale.
What would you most like the community to know about Prospera?
Prospera’s mission is to help start, sustain, and grow Hispanic-owned businesses to achieve community prosperity, and that this is done by developing solid community partnerships. Working together is key for the success of our local business owners.

What is the most important lesson you’ve learned throughout your career?
It is very important to build long term relationships by always helping others and adopting a Servant Leadership style.
How do you achieve work/life balance?
I use technology tools every day and different organizational methods to ensure I’m efficient. This allows me to carve out time to do what I love, which is building relationships with Family, at work and in our communities. I’ve learned that you have to be strategic and intentional in the tasks you want to achieve every day.
How do you stay informed about trends in your industry?
Every morning, I browse different news channels, and ensure I review the latest economic updates and information available through my employer. I also regularly attend community events and seminars to learn about the latest industry news and developments at the state and national level.
Where is your favorite place to have a meeting outside of the office?
Being from Colombia I enjoy having a good cup of coffee.

I use LinkedIn daily in my efforts to build relationships and be informed.
