What is your workplace’s mission and what products or services do you provide?
As a Real Estate Agent with Atlanta Properties Group, my mission is to guide people through one of the biggest investments of their lives, buying a home. I don’t just help clients find a property; I help them learn, grow, and build a vision for their future.
Many of my clients begin with their first home, and over time, I’ve had the privilege of helping them purchase their first investment property or even commercial real estate for their business as their lives evolve. My goal is to be a trusted advisor at every stage, empowering families to create stability, opportunity, and generational wealth through real estate.
What motivated you to serve as a Prospera TAC volunteer?
I’ve always had a passion for helping, teaching, and guiding others. Seeing people prosper is fuel for my soul, especially within our community. Watching individuals rise from humble beginnings and knowing I can be a stepping stone in their journey to success is truly life-fulfilling.
When I learned about Prospera and its mission to empower entrepreneurs, I immediately wanted to be part of it. Their purpose aligned perfectly with my heart to serve and help others thrive.
What have you enjoyed the most so far about serving on Prospera’s TAC?
What I’ve enjoyed most is connecting with people from different industries and hearing their perspectives during our TAC meetings. I love the exchange of ideas, opinions, and experiences; it’s inspiring and helps me grow personally and professionally.
Most of all, I value that, together with the other members, we play a direct role in helping entrepreneurs who need support. Knowing that our collective efforts help open doors and create opportunities for growth in our communities is deeply rewarding.
What would you most like the community to know about Prospera?
The value Prospera provides to both new and growing businesses is truly priceless. What makes it special is that it takes a holistic approach to entrepreneurship, helping businesses succeed from the inside out.
From developing an idea and creating a business plan to understanding the legal, branding, and accounting sides, Prospera is there every step of the way. Many people are talented at what they do, but struggle with running the business itself. Prospera becomes that trusted partner that opens their eyes, equips them with knowledge, and helps turn passion into sustainable success.
Which three words best describe you?
Fearless, compassionate, resourceful.
What is the most important lesson you’ve learned throughout your career?
I’ve learned that you don’t have to sacrifice integrity or others’ success to achieve your own. Work hard, stay focused, and let your actions show what you’re made of.
Success looks different for everyone; one size doesn’t fit all. The most important thing is to be your genuine self, treat others with respect, and stay faithful to your purpose. When you do, doors open that you never imagined possible.
How do you achieve work/life balance?
For me, balance begins with keeping my priorities in order. My faith and family are at the center of everything I do; they ground me and give meaning to my work. I’ve learned that success in business means very little if you lose balance in your personal life.
I’m intentional about setting boundaries, managing my time wisely, and making space for rest and reflection. Real estate can be demanding, but when I’m spiritually aligned and emotionally refreshed, I can show up better for my clients and my community. It’s all about creating harmony between purpose, passion, and peace.
How do you stay informed about trends in your industry?
I’m a big believer in continuous learning. Real estate is always changing, so I make it a priority to stay informed and ahead of the curve. I attend trainings, workshops, and industry conferences, and I stay connected with other professionals who inspire me to grow.
I also love learning from my clients. Every transaction and every story teaches me something new. I keep up with market trends, technology, and marketing strategies, and I enjoy exploring how social media can reach and educate a new generation of buyers. Knowledge is power, but it’s also a tool to serve others better. The more I grow, the more I can help others achieve their dreams.
Where is your favorite place to have a meeting outside of the office?
I love having meetings in local coffee shops. There’s something special about sharing a cup of coffee, it helps bring walls down and creates a genuine connection. Real estate is personal, and those relaxed, friendly conversations often lead to the most meaningful relationships. For me, coffee and connection go hand in hand.
Which social media platform do you use most frequently?
I use Facebook most often because it allows me to stay connected with my clients, community, and network in a more personal way. However, I’ve also branched out into Instagram and TikTok to stay current with the times.
The new generation connects and learns through these platforms, and I love using them to share real estate tips, motivational content, and behind-the-scenes moments. It’s fun, creative, and a great way to reach and inspire people where they are.
What is one item still on your bucket list?
One of my biggest dreams is to create a nonprofit foundation that helps families achieve the dream of homeownership. I’ve seen so many hardworking people, especially within our community, who have the desire to own a home but simply lack the knowledge, resources, or guidance to make it happen.
My vision is to build a foundation that offers education, mentorship, and financial preparation tools to bridge that gap. It would be a place where families not only learn how to buy their first home but also gain confidence, stability, and a sense of belonging. Helping others open the door to their own home would be one of the most rewarding legacies I could ever leave.
Gloria’s passion for empowering families through real estate and her commitment to guiding others reflect the heart of Prospera’s mission. Her leadership and community service help open doors for entrepreneurs across Georgia to pursue stability, growth, and opportunity.
