George Seda is Senior Vice President and Market Solutions Advisor for Business Banking at Bank of America. With over 30 years of experience supporting small and mid-sized businesses in Puerto Rico and Central Florida, George brings deep financial expertise and a longstanding commitment to community service. Now, as a valued member of the Prospera Regional Board in Central and Northeast Florida, he helps advance the mission of empowering Hispanic entrepreneurs across the region. What is your workplace/organization’s mission and what services do you provide?
At Bank of America, we believe in the importance of treating each customer, client, and teammate as an individual and treating every moment as one that matters. We strive to go the distance to deliver with discipline and passion. We believe in making decisions that are clear, fair, and grounded in the principles of shared success, responsible citizenship, and community building.
What motivated you to serve on Prospera’s board as a volunteer?
After being involved with Prospera in different roles, the opportunity to serve on the Board came up. It was an easy decision because I wanted to share my 33 years of experience serving small and mid-sized companies in Puerto Rico and Central Florida with the organization.
What have you enjoyed the most so far about serving on Prospera’s board?
The greatest satisfaction for me is serving my Hispanic community and seeing Prospera clients grow their businesses over the years.
Which are the three words that best describe you?
Positive, Patient, and Persistent.
Where is your favorite place to have a meeting outside of the office?
My favorite place to meet with business owners is when I visit their location, where they can showcase the company operations with pride.
