What are your workplace’s mission and products/services?

We provide a full range of banking products including personal and business accounts, loans, credit solutions, and financial education resources. Our focus is on building long-term relationships and giving clients the tools they need to reach their financial goals. What motivated you to serve on Prospera’s Board as a volunteer?

I see firsthand how access to financial knowledge and resources can open doors and transform lives. I am inspired by Prospera’s mission.

Having the opportunity to collaborate with other passionate board members who bring diverse experiences and a shared commitment to equity. It is rewarding to know that our work is helping create real opportunities for people in our communities.

What would you most like the community to know about Prospera?

Prospera is more than just an organization. It is a powerful support system for entrepreneurs. Prospera provides tools, training, and guidance that help turn ideas into thriving businesses, but it also offers something just as important: belief in the potential of every person who walks through its doors.
It is a space where dreams take shape and real change begins, led by people who truly understand and care about their communities.

Which three words best describe you?

Dedicated, resilient, empowering.

What is the most important lesson you’ve learned throughout your career?

The most important lesson I have learned is that leadership is not about having all the answers. It is about listening, learning, and creating space for others to grow.

Whether in banking or community work, I have seen that meaningful progress happens when you lead with empathy, stay resilient through challenges, and stay committed to your values. Success is not just personal, it is collective.

How do you achieve work/life balance?

For me, achieving work-life balance means being intentional with my time and setting clear boundaries. I prioritize what matters most at work and in my personal life, and I try to stay present wherever I am.

I have learned that rest and time with family and community are not a luxury; they are essential to staying grounded and showing up as my best self. It is not always perfect, but I have found that balance comes from knowing my limits and giving myself permission to pause and recharge when needed.

How do you stay informed about trends in your industry?

Working at TD Bank gives me direct access to tools and resources that help clients succeed, while also keeping me connected to evolving industry trends and customer needs.

I regularly attend financial webinars and stay active in professional banking and finance networks. I also find great value in listening to clients and community members, because real-life conversations often reveal emerging needs and trends that data alone cannot capture.

Which social media platform do you use most frequently?

LinkedIn.

Fabiola’s dedication to community impact, financial equity, and collaborative leadership continues to strengthen the work of Prospera in Central and Northeast Florida. Her presence on the Regional Board reinforces the organization’s mission to support entrepreneurs and create a more inclusive business ecosystem.
