Georgia Client: Eduardo Campos
Building a Legal Practice with Purpose and Community Impact
Originally from Mexico, Eduardo Campos brings more than 17 years of legal and leadership experience, supported by advanced degrees in law, public administration, and political science. His career includes managing his own law firm in Ohio and developing strong accounting expertise that continues to guide his work today.
Motivated by a commitment to serve both English- and Spanish-speaking clients, Eduardo established The Campos Law Firm, LLC in Atlanta to provide accessible legal counsel in family, immigration, and small business law. Bilingual and culturally aware, he connects with clients through empathy and understanding. He also dedicates time to pro bono work, including upcoming collaborations with Catholic Charities of Georgia.
Strengthening His Practice with Prospera’s Support
When relocating to Georgia to re-establish his law firm, Eduardo turned to Prospera to ensure a solid foundation for growth. Adapting to a new state required compliance with Georgia’s tax and accounting standards, as well as tailored systems for trust accounting, client billing, and expense tracking.
Through Prospera’s personalized consulting, Eduardo received a Business Plan for Operations, which helped him clarify goals, identify opportunities, and structure his practice for long-term success. He also benefited from an Accounting Assessment that connected him with CPA-level expertise to design a chart of accounts, streamline processes, and ensure compliance. These services gave him the clarity and tools to combine strategic vision with efficient day-to-day management.
A Stronger Foundation for Growth
With this support, Eduardo has strengthened his firm’s financial and operational systems, allowing him to expand his client base, increase revenue, and build stronger community connections. Importantly, he has also committed part of his practice to pro bono services that make legal assistance more accessible.
Looking Ahead
Eduardo’s goals reflect both ambition and service. He plans to grow The Campos Law Firm, LLC into a sustainable practice recognized as a trusted resource for families, immigrants, and entrepreneurs. His plans include expanding his team, strengthening professional partnerships such as with the Georgia Hispanic Bar, and using referrals and social media to enhance visibility. By January 2026, he aims to move into a larger office to better serve clients and provide a welcoming space for his staff and community.
Advice for Other Entrepreneurs
“I have been a solo practicing attorney for over 17 years, always with the intention of building a true business. However, without a clear plan, I lacked the foundation to make that vision a reality. Prospera changed that. Through their guidance and support, I was able to formalize my goals, create a structured plan, and finally begin laying the groundwork for sustainable growth. Their resources and mentorship gave me the clarity and confidence I needed to transform my law practice into a business with a strong future.”
With determination, expertise, and the right support, Eduardo Campos is growing a legal practice that not only serves clients but also uplifts the community.
