North Carolina client: Sayda Pacheco
Originally from Honduras, Sayda Pacheco is the owner of Sabor Catracho, a home-based business that produces and distributes various food items in Charlotte, North Carolina. Driven by the motivation to be a great example of successful entrepreneurship to her family, Sayda works hard every day to show her children how to be their own bosses, while building a better future for themselves. In her business, Sayda offers Honduran snacks such as plantain and cassava chips, and flauta-tacos, made from scratch.
Prospera has aided Sayda from the early stages of her business, through the registration process and shaping her vision. Prospera has also provided tools and resources to help Sayda satisfy many common needs of small business owners. With Prospera’s guidance, Sayda has been able to expand her business and identify new opportunities in the market.
Sayda understands the importance of being consistent with her business and advises other Hispanic entrepreneurs to stay focused regardless of the many obstacles they’ll have to face. She recommends setting goals, developing an achievable plan, and sticking to it. For the future, Sayda hopes to continue working with her family and maintaining her clients’ satisfaction, cultivating and improving her brand, and relocating her business operation outside of her home.
