Georgia Client: Valeria Laconich
Shaping financial success through emotional intelligence
Originally from Argentina, entrepreneur Valeria Laconich brings a unique perspective to financial literacy. With a background in psychopedagogy and more than 30 years of experience—including eight as an educational psychologist in the UK—she founded Emotional Financial Intelligence, LLC in 2017 to help individuals and companies achieve greater financial well-being through mindset transformation.
Now based in Alpharetta, Georgia, Valeria uses her proprietary E.F.I. method to mentor business owners, professionals, and sales teams—helping them break through limiting beliefs, improve their finances, and generate sustainable income. Through workshops, mentoring, and public speaking, she promotes emotional and financial alignment as the foundation for long-term success.
Strengthening her business with Prospera’s support
Valeria connected with Prospera in 2024 after attending the Compañeros Awards hosted by the Latin American Association, where she met a Prospera consultant. Recognizing her passion and potential, Prospera provided personalized business consulting to assess her needs and develop a strategy for growth in the U.S. market.
She received business advancement services, including a branding kit and an accounting assessment, helping her establish a professional identity and confidently navigate her financial responsibilities. Additionally, with Prospera’s guidance, she secured funding to strengthen her marketing strategy and expand her operations.
“With Prospera, I found the support system I needed to take my business to the next level,” shares Valeria. “From personalized guidance to actionable tools, every step has empowered me to grow with purpose and clarity.”
Focused on growth and empowerment
Thanks to her work with Prospera, Valeria has more than doubled her revenue in 2024. As she continues to grow her U.S. client base, her goals include strengthening her brand, reaching new audiences, and creating a lasting impact.
Her future plans include working with HR and sales directors to implement the E.F.I. method across commercial teams, helping companies improve performance and retention and align their strategies with emotional and financial intelligence.
Advice for other Hispanic entrepreneurs
“Surround yourself with people who believe in your vision and can guide you toward success. Prospera is that community,” says Valeria. “You don’t have to do it alone. With the right support, you can thrive.”
