Georgia Client: Christian Corvos
Originally from Venezuela, Christian Corvos founded Corvos Foods in 2023 to carry on the legacy of his mother, Carmen. After her passing in April 2023, Christian was inspired to honor her memory by sharing with the world the beloved cilantro-based sauce she had created. Equipped with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia College & State University and nearly two decades of professional experience, Christian launched this new venture, but he needed guidance to bring his vision to life.
In March 2023, Christian connected with Prospera through a referral from Mónica Cucalón, Vice President of Economic Empowerment at the Latin American Association (LAA). At that time, Corvos Foods faced challenges with branding and needed a clear identity to distinguish its product in the market. Prospera stepped in, providing Christian with personalized business consulting and business advancement services to develop an attractive brand. This support was crucial in rebranding the product from “Carmen’s Green Sauce” to “Carmen’s Cilantro Sauce,” helping to avoid confusion with other products and better position the business for growth.
Corvos Foods is not just about selling a product; it’s about creating a legacy and making a positive impact, one bottle of Carmen’s Cilantro Sauce at a time. With Prospera’s assistance, Corvos Foods has built strong foundations and found the path to expand into new markets, including online sales, retail, and restaurants. As Corvos Foods looks to the future, the company aims to continue honoring Carmen’s memory by supporting cancer research and families facing cancer-related challenges.
