What are your workplace’s mission and products/services?
Our mission is to protect and advance what matters most to our clients, their business and their legacy, while strengthening the communities we serve. We are committed to delivering practical, forward-thinking legal counsel in corporate law, contracts, real estate, and asset protection so our clients can grow with confidence and our communities can thrive through integrity, opportunity, and long-term economic stability.
What motivated you to serve as a Prospera volunteer?
I was motivated to serve because Prospera’s mission aligns directly with my own commitment to protecting and advancing what matters most to business owners, their business, their legacy, and strengthening the communities we serve.
What have you enjoyed the most so far about serving on Prospera’s TAC?
Hearing directly from Prospera’s clients about their dreams, to build financial stability for their families, create jobs in their communities, and turn a skill into a dignified livelihood, has been both grounding and energizing. Their courage, creativity, and persistence shape how I think about committee discussions. I have also enjoyed serving alongside other committee members and staff who share a strong commitment to this mission.
How do you achieve work/life balance?
I don’t actually believe in “balance”; I believe in harmony. For me, that means being fully present in whatever I’m doing instead of trying to be everywhere at once. If I’m with my family, I’m truly there with my attention, energy, and heart. When I’m at work, I’m fully focused there, knowing my family time has its own protected space. This approach removes the pressure of chasing a perfect balance and allows me to live more harmoniously.
Where is your favorite place to have a meeting outside of the office?
A local restaurant.
