Building a Family-Owned Medical Aesthetics Practice 

Carolina Gimenez, originally from Argentina, is the co-owner of Auravie Med Spa in Boynton Beach with her husband. Together, they develop the idea of a family-owned business dedicated to enhancing natural beauty through skincare treatments, combining her experience in aesthetic services with his background in finance and business strategy. After signing the lease for their location, they recognized that operating independently required more strategic planning, particularly to position the business effectively across digital platforms, which prompted them to seek guidance to launch with clarity and confidence.

Meeting Prospera During the Preparation Phase 

Carolina first met Prospera in July 2025 during a pop-up consulting event. At that time, Carolina and her husband were preparing to open the business while ensuring they met all regulatory requirements. Prospera supported them through these processes and helped with the development of a digital marketing plan to optimize their online presence. With the organization’s assistance and in collaboration with the City of Boynton Beach Economic Development team, the business held its official ribbon-cutting ceremony in November 2025.

Growth and Next Steps 

Within months of opening, Auravie Med Spa reached its break-even point, marking an important early milestone. Building on that momentum, the business continues to attract new clients and strengthen its operations. As part of their business development, Prospera is currently helping them navigate the process to gain access to capital to continue growing sustainably and successfully. Looking ahead, Carolina and her husband plan to focus on profitability and reinvestment, with goals that include expanding their team, diversifying services, and investing in advanced laser technologies to meet increasing demand. These efforts are part of a structured plan to scale responsibly while maintaining operational stability.

Reflecting on their experience, Carolina shares:
