Central Florida Client: Abel Cifuentes
A Vision for Clean Spaces and Meaningful Impact
Abel Cifuentes, a Colombian entrepreneur, founded Multycerv, LLC in 2012 after spending more than two decades in the United States. Motivated by his father’s example and his own desire for independence, Abel launched the business to create dignified jobs, promote quality service, and provide clients with a trusted alternative in the cleaning industry. With over 13 years of experience, he saw an opportunity to do things differently—emphasizing fairness, respect, and community values.
From Family Legacy to Business Ownership
Though Multycerv began part-time, Abel’s commitment was always full-time. He had witnessed injustices in the janitorial sector and wanted to build something better. Today, his family-owned company serves Central and South Florida with a range of commercial cleaning services, including green cleaning, disinfection, and building maintenance. What sets Multycerv apart is its focus on customer satisfaction, employee well-being, and building strong relationships that last.
Building a Solid Foundation with Prospera
Abel first connected with Prospera two years ago through his wife and local networking opportunities. At the time, he needed help developing a strategic business plan, obtaining certifications, and exploring new growth opportunities. With Prospera’s guidance, he gained access to critical tools that helped him elevate his operations. He was awarded a business advancement service to develop a professional business plan and participated in an Academy Providers program in Osceola County.
Focused on Growth and Community Impact
With Prospera’s support, Multycerv has achieved notable milestones. The business has secured new clients, expanded its network, and obtained its Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certification. Abel continues working toward county-level certifications and sees greater organization and structure within his company. With a team of 30 to 40 employees, he is committed to maintaining a strong, family-centered culture where both the business and its people can thrive.
Advice for Hispanic Entrepreneurs
Abel encourages fellow entrepreneurs to seek guidance from Prospera early in their journey. “Having the right support and mentorship helps you do things right from the beginning,” he shares. “It allows you to avoid mistakes, stay focused, and build something sustainable.”
Looking Ahead
Abel’s long-term vision is to double the company’s revenue, expand its workforce, and enhance employee benefits. His focus remains on growth with purpose—providing excellent service while nurturing a workplace defined by dignity, opportunity, and pride. To learn more about Multycerv, visit www.multycerv.com.
