The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando (HCCMO) and Prospera (formerly HBIF) have officially opened nominations for their 20th Annual Don Quijote Awards. Nominations will be accepted until June 30 and must be submitted through the event’s official website: www.donquijoteawards.com.
The coveted awards have reached their 20th annual celebration and continue to grow in popularity and distinction within Central Florida’s business and professional community. The awards were created as a way to recognize innovative entrepreneurs and professionals who exhibit the characteristics of Don Quijote: visionary, dreamer and courageous individuals who are willing to take risks in order to achieve their dreams.
The award categories are: Hispanic Business of the Year (Five Years of Less), Hispanic Business of the Year (More than Five Years), Professional of the Year, Excellence, and Hispanic Community Champion. Please visit www.donquijoteawards.com for more information about the nomination criteria.
The finalists for this year’s 20th celebration will be announced publicly at a press conference hosted by Prospera and HCCMO in November 2017. The winners of each category will be announced at the Don Quijote Awards Gala on December 9, 2017.
