The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando (HCCMO) and Prospera will present a workshop in Puerto Rico for business owners who wish to expand their businesses to Florida. This workshop is a result of collaborative efforts and a Memorandum of Understanding that will be signed with Puerto Rico Governor Ricardo Rossello and the Puerto Rico Trade and Export Company, led by Ricardo Llerandi.
Titled Expande tu negocio a la Florida (Expand Your Business to Florida), the workshop will be held on Tuesday, June 19 at the Puerto Rico Convention Center. It is presented by the following local agencies: The Puerto Rico Trade and Export Company, Centro Unido de Detallistas de Puerto Rico, and the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce.
The objective is to provide essential information about different Central Florida resources and opportunities available for Puerto Ricans to expand their businesses or export their services and products to the Sunshine State. Workshop topics will include financial assessment, business plans, legal structure, business regulations, market demographics, effective sales planning, and access to capital for Puerto Rican companies to consider when expanding to Florida, as well as a panel on Central Florida economic development and business opportunities
