4-week training program helps accelerate Hispanic-owned business growth in Charlotte
As part of the efforts to provide training and support to the local small business and entrepreneurial community, the Latin American Chamber of Commerce of Charlotte (LACCC) and Prospera joined forces to offer the Nationwide Business Builder Accelerator program in the metro Charlotte region.
The program provides 20 Hispanic small business owners an opportunity to learn techniques and strategies that will help them accelerate their business growth. The program focuses on an acceleration process designed to facilitate the process of integration and success in the local ecosystem by retooling Hispanic-owned business owners with new skills, access to key contacts, potential contracting opportunities, and resources as well as business acculturation and community engagement.
The program includes modules that cover areas such as leadership, business plan and business model development and sustainability with a one-one-one consultation component throughout the program to provide individual assistance in addition to assessing needs for further and more customized support. Chamber members and Prospera clients are benefiting from this year’s four-week program.
